I grew up with all the cultural and geographical influences of the Southernmost part of the Missouri Ozarks. It has been a journey of growth and self discovery. I asked the hard and forbidden questions. The process of unfolding is continuous.
Education and access to accurate information through research has been a major privilege.
To the caretakers, educators, therapists, mentors and supervisors that helped me along the way. Thank you for your wisdom, acceptance, kindness and patience.
Formal Education and Training:
Masters Degree in Counseling and Guidance with an emphasis in Mental Health from The University of Missouri-Kansas City (2018). B.A. in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (2014).
I have experience in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, community mental health, private practice, case management, and supported housing.
I am still learning, there is just so much to know.
